Members of the press and public are also welcome to attend. Photographing, recording, broadcasting or transmitting the proceedings of a meeting is permitted so long as this does not disrupt the meeting in any way. To receive Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda - Minutes and Matters Arising - To approve the draft minutes of the Annual meeting held on 18 May 2026 - To consider matters arising - Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business - Discussions with Town Councillors and the North Yorkshire Councillor in respect of questions already posed, and any new matters - Financial matters - To report accounts paid since the last meeting of the Council and to approve cheque payments according to the list provided - To receive the Financial Summary to 31 May 2026 - To note payments authorised by the clerk in accordance with Standing Orders - Defibrillator Pads @ £82.95 + VAT - 1/4 page advert in The Handy Mag (Minute MR26009) @ £58.80 + VAT - To consider Grant Applications - Kirkbymoorside Allotment Association in the amount of £500 towards the cost of replacement of machinery - Kirkbymoorside Horticultural Society in the amount of £280 to purchase new staging materials for the annual show - Moorside Room - Management and promotion - To receive the minutes of the Moorside Room Committee meeting on 13 May 2026 - To consider the recommendation of the Committee to host an Open Evening asap with refreshments to promote the venue - To note expenditure of £58.80 + VAT for a quarter page advert in The Handymag - To note the feature in The Moorsider - Lewis Creighton Exhibition - To receive an update on progress of arrangements for the Lewis Creighton exhibition - To consider the cost of £55 for insurance endorsement for loaned art works - To consider a budget of £100 for associated expenses - To consider a ceiling budget for the purchase of a Lewis Creighton painting for the town - To consider the cost of £6,120 for works in Manor Vale woodland, identified as immediate on the tri-ennial tree safety report - Phase I Build - Machinery Store at Sports Field - To receive an update on progress of the Phase I Build - To consider the allocation of received funds from WaterTight of £200 per month to cover the cost of machinery storage of £159.32 per month from 16/05/2026 (payable to Kirkbymoorside Football Club as reimbursement) - Kirkbymoorside Town Signs - To receive the designs of the town signs with the new town brand - To receive information on - To agree a ceiling budget of £1000 for costs associated with the relocation of the sign on approach from Helmsley -
