===== Agenda - Play Areas & Sports Committee 8 April 2015 =====

Issued on 1 April 2015 for a meeting of the Sports Committee to be held in The Moorside Room, 9 Church Street, Kirkbymoorside on 8th April 2015 at 7pm

  - To receive apologies for absence
  - To receive Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda
  - Minutes and Matters Arising
    - To approve the Minutes for the Play Areas & Sports committee meeting on 25 November 2014
    - To consider matters arising
  - Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
  - Skatepark
    - To note a request by the skate park users to swap the skate banks at the east side of the park
    - To consider and agree to authorise the proposed works subject to best cost estimate to be provided at the meeting or to authorise a ceiling expenditure using information available 
    - To consider and agree to hold a Sk8 Jam Event in the summer holidays at a cost of £795 on condition that the skate park users raise some funds to contribute to this cost 
  - To receive information from the sports clubs regarding their plans for the future looking at 1, 3 and 5 year plans and consider potential areas where the clubs could work together to apply for grant funding
  - To receive a report on the progress by Hedleys Solicitors on the issuance of leases and pitch licence for the sports clubs 
  - To acknowledge receipt of correspondence from the Flying Club dated 2nd December 2014
  - Questions to the Chairman
  - To note the date of the next scheduled meeting is Thursday 9th July at 7pm
