===== Agenda - Play Areas & Sports Committee meeting 7th September 2017 =====

Issued on 21st August 2017 for a meeting of the Play Areas and Sports Committee to be held in The Moorside Room, 9 Church Street Kirkbymoorside on 7th September 2017 at 7pm

  - To receive apologies for absence
  - To receive Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda
  - Minutes and Matters Arising
    - To approve the Minutes for the Play Areas & Sports committee meeting on 29th June 2017
    - To consider matters arising
  - Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
  - Sportsfield
    - To note that 3no. mature ash trees situated on the eastern boundary of the sportsfield need crown lifting
    - To consider and agree the appointment of a contractor to carry out the tree works
  - To note that the Big Lottery Fund, 'Awards For All' grant application for the project costs associated with the outdoor half basketball court at Old Road has been approved
  - Old Road
    - To consider and agree the cost of £300.00 + VAT for remedial repairs and replacement parts of the play equipment and skate park at the Old Road play area as recommended in the annual inspection
    - To consider and agree the options available for supply and installation of pergolas at Old Road play area
  - Questions to the Chairman
  - To note the date of the next meeting will be Thursday 9 November 2017 at 7pm in The Moorside Room.
