  5. Neighbourhood Planning
    1. To receive information from Jill Thompson, Forward Planning Manager at Ryedale District Council on the process and implications of adopting a Neighbourhood Plan
    2. To receive information from Kathryn Jukes, Director of Directions Planning Consultancy on support in the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan
  6. Discussions with District and County Councillors
    1. County and District Councillors to respond to questions already posed
    2. Town Councillors to raise urgent matters recently arisen

  7. To consider financial matters:
    1. To approve cheque payments according to the list provided

  9. To consider supporting the grant application for funding from Awards for All to set up a Words Wizards Club in the library, aimed at engaging young people and developing their literacy and art skills

  12. To note that Tesco are no longer planning to build on the site at Russells Yard and the site will be put up for sale

  14. To note that Councillor Dowie has been elected to the Ryedale Area Committee, pending ratification on 17 September 2014
  15. Christmas lights - to consider and agree to dispose of the faulty Christmas lights if further attempts to donate them are unsuccessful
