  3. Minutes and Matters Arising
    1. To approve the minutes of the Meeting held on 17th July 2017
    2. To receive the minutes of the Play Area and Sports committee meeting held on 7th September 2017
    3. To consider matters arising
  4. Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
  5. Discussions with Town, District and County Councillors in respect of questions already posed, and any new matters
  6. To consider financial matters:
    1. To approve cheque payments according to the list provided
    2. To receive the Financial Summary to 30 August 2017
    3. To note conclusion of Audit of the Annual Return for the year ended 31 March 2017 with no matters raised (Sections 20(2) and 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/234))
  7. Cricket & Football Pitch
    1. To consider and agree the cost of £246.00 being the 2017 charge for the annual application of fertiliser and weedkiller to the cricket/football pitch, in accordance with item 4.1 Licensor's obligation as specified in the Cricket and Football Club Pitch Licenses (pursuant to Minute 17019c dated 15 May 2017)
    2. To receive the proposal submitted by Kirkbymoorside Cricket Club that the Town Council absorb the service costs of the pitch machinery, in lieu of grass cutting, whilst still satisfying item 4.1 Licensor's obligation as specified in the Cricket and Football Club Pitch Licenses (pursuant to minute 17019b dated 15 May 2017)
      1. To consider and agree to cover the costs of servicing the power unit of the gang mower every 3 years, commencing winter 2018, at an estimated cost of £676.66 + VAT (additional charges incurred if it is necessary to fit additional parts or carry out further work to be charged to the pitch clubs)
      2. To consider and agree to cover the costs of sharpening the cutting units of the gang mower every 3 years commencing winter 2017, at an estimated cost of £710.00 + VAT (additional charges incurred if it is necessary to fit additional parts or carry out further work to be charged to the pitch clubs)
  8. Street Furniture
    1. To consider and agree refurbishment of the railings and bench at Pump Hill, Market Place at a cost of £952.00 plus materials
    2. To consider and agree refurbishment of the railings and bench in proximity of 'Simply Delicious' deli, Piercy End at a cost of £816.00 plus materials
    3. To note the response from NYCC Highways & Transport with regards to the street furniture licence application for installation of a bus shelter on the A170 eastbound
    4. To consider and agree to consult with the neighbouring residents to complete the application process
  9. Committee membership
    1. To note that Stuart Temple ceases to be a member of the Play Area and Sports Committee due to persistent absence(LGA 1972, s85(1) and (2)
    2. To consider and agree to co-opt Edward Strickland and Alex Strickland to the non-councillor vacancies on the Play Area & Sports Committee
  10. To note the response from Ryedale District Council in response to the position statement regarding development sites
  11. To consider and agree to support the RDC Community Team's campaign 'Don’t Be A Waster – Reduce, Reuse, Respect'
  12. The Royal British Legion Remembrance Service and Parade, Sunday 12th November 2017
    1. To note receipt of an invitation by The Royal British Legion to take part in the Remembrance Service and Parade
    2. To agree a sum to contribute towards a wreath under s137 of the Local Government Act 1972
  13. To consider and agree to donate any replaced street signs to the Kirkbymoorside History Group
  14. Receive the Town Mayor’s Report
  15. Receive reports from Members representing the Town Council at meetings of outside bodies and on delegated matters
