Issued on 15 June 2021 for a meeting of the Town Council to be held at 7pm on 21 June 2021 in Church House, Kirkbymoorside.
On 25 March 2021, Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government, Luke Hall MP confirmed that legislation permitting remote meetings will not be extended in England beyond 7 May 2021. Accordingly, meetings of the Town Council will be held at Church House, with social distancing measures in place, in line with government guidance.
Access to the meeting:
Members of the Council are required to attend in person. Members of the press and public are also welcome to attend. There is limited availability for physical attendance, due to the necessity for social distancing. All participants are required to register their intention to attend by contacting the Town Clerk in advance, by 5pm on the date of the meeting. Email town.clerk@kirkbymoorsidetowncouncil.gov.uk or leave a message by telephone 01751 432217.
All attendees are required to wear face coverings (unless exempt) and adhere to the Covid-19 safeguarding protocol, including hand sanitising and track and trace/registration upon arrival.
The meeting will also be live streamed to enable any members of the public simply seeking to watch (and not participate in the meeting) to do so safely and reduce numbers in attendance.

Town Cemetery
To review the cemetery charges
To consider revising the grass cutting schedule to designate the northwest area of the cemetery as a conservation area to encourage wild flower growth
To consider appropriate signage to indicate the environmentally friendly approach to the grounds maintenance
To note that the spoil from the cemetery has been removed, free of charge, by Holt Farms
To consider a request by the Kirkby Youth Club for use of the Moorside Room to host activity sessions

NYCC Highways Authority
To consider application to NYCC Highways Authority for the installation of 20mph road markings and additional signage on West End, Westfields and Tinley Garth
To note the response from North Yorkshire Police Traffic Bureau to concerns raised by Cllr Shipley regarding speeding on West End and Westfields
To receive information on the launch of NY Highways for the delivery of operational highway services
To note the NYCC Area 4 Highways Team are undertaking significant works at various locations within Ryedale between the 21st June until mid-October
