Members of the Council are required to attend in person. Members of the press and public are also welcome to attend. There is limited availability for physical attendance, due to the necessity for social distancing. All participants are required to register their intention to attend by contacting the Town Clerk in advance, by 5pm on the date of the meeting. All attendees are required to wear face coverings (unless exempt) and adhere to the Covid-19 safeguarding protocol, including hand sanitising and track and trace/registration upon arrival.
The meeting will also be live streamed to enable any members of the public simply seeking to watch (and not participate in the meeting) to do so safely and reduce numbers in attendance.

Flood risk management at Kirby Mills and Keldholme
To receive the proposal from JBA Consulting for a Natural Flood Management Feasibility Assessment of the River Dove upstream of Kirkbymoorside to provide potential flood mitigation options to the residents of Keldholme/Kirby Mills
To consider the cost of £4,985 (+ VAT) for the assessment, for presentation to appropriate authorities in support of efforts to initiate satisfactory action
Street furniture
To note the street furniture licence has been issued by NYCC Highway Authority for the installation of a bench outside 7 Market Place
To consider the costs associated with purchase of a 6ft wooden bench: £695 (+ VAT); £80 - £100 (+ VAT) engraving and £40 installation charge
To consider the request from Moors Gateway Rotary to donate the cost of a 6ft wooden bench (including installation) engraved with “Moors Gateway Rotary” to the Town Council
To receive a request for the installation of a tree planter outside 24 and 26 Market Place and consider application to NYCC Highway Authority for a street furniture licence
