- Town Councillors to raise urgent matters recently arisen

- Former Library Building
- To receive an update regarding the progress of the works to the former library building
- To receive information following the meeting with members of the Pickering Memorial Hall committee
- To consider and agree options available for the future management of the building
- Opening of Former Library Building - Tour de France 100 day Cultural Festival
- To consider and agree to hold the official opening ceremony of the former library building on Saturday 3rd May as part of the Tour de France 100 day cultural festival
- To discuss suggestions for effective content and promotion of the event
- To consider appropriate persons to carry out the opening ceremony
- Kirkbymoorside 10k - To consider a request for the route of the children’s 1 mile event to pass through Manor Vale
- Church House - Draft Service Level Agreement
- To note that 4.1(a) has been amended and 4.1(b) inserted to reflect concerns previously expressed by councillors
- To consider and agree to the amended Service Level Agreement with NYCC regarding library volunteers
- To note any progress in respect of the S106 project funding applications which were submitted to RDC on 20 November 2013

- Street Signs
- To note that presently there are 11 street signs that require repainting/replacement
- To note that there are 3 variations in style of signs throughout Kirkbymoorside and the replacement signs provided by RDC would apply the modern format
- To note the option of repainting the signs would retain their existing format and the cost of this would be covered by RDC provided it is equal to the cost of replacement and any additional costs would be payable by the Town Council
- To receive a sample of the new and refurbished signs and decide the preferred course of action
- Ordinary Meeting in April 2014
- To note that the date of the April Ordinary meeting is currently scheduled to take place on 21 April which is a bank holiday
- To consider and agree to hold the Ordinary meeting on Monday 14 April
- Welcome to Kirkbymoorside Sign
- To note a request by a member of the public for information to be displayed on the 'Welcome to Kirkbymoorside' sign
- To establish a protocol for publication of information on the 'Welcome to Kirkbymoorside' sign
- Christmas lights
- To note that the roundabout christmas light system was damaged when it was blown over by the high winds this recent christmas and the parts required for repairs are no longer available and subsequently an insurance claim is in progress to cover the cost of replacement lights
- To consider the various design styles and agree a format for the replacement christmas lights
- A170 verges
- To note that there is considerable mole activity on the A170 verges
- To consider the removal of the moles at a cost of £100
- To note a recommendation by the Dog Warden to replace the 2 dog bag dispensers located outside the primary school and at the entrance to Old Road play area
- To acknowledge receipt of correspondence from In Bloom and consider continued sponsorship of a flower tub at a cost of £40
