Issued on 10 July 2024 for a meeting of the Town Council to be held at 7.30pm on 15 July 2024 in Church House, Kirkbymoorside.

Members of the Council are required to attend. Members of the press and public are also welcome to attend.

  3. Minutes and Matters Arising
    1. To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Ordinary meeting held on 17 June 2024
    2. To consider matters arising
      1. To receive information regarding local healthcare provision, pursuant to concerns raised under Questions to the Chair, Minute 24036
  4. Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
  5. Discussions with Town and County Councillors in respect of questions already posed, and any new matters
  6. To consider financial matters
    1. To report accounts paid since the last meeting of the Council and to approve cheque payments according to the list provided
    2. To receive the Financial Summary to 30 June 2024
    3. To note submission of the VAT 126 Reclaim for the period 01.04.2023 - 31.03.2024 in the amount of £6,247.03
  7. To review the membership for committees, delegated teams and representatives
  8. Community Celebration Event - 12 October 2024
    1. To receive a report on progress of arrangements to date including design of the awards and certificates
    2. To appoint judges of the Window Dressing Competition
  9. Moorside Room
    1. To consider revisions to the Moorside Room Policy Position Document
    2. To consider promotion of the venue
  10. Play Areas
    1. To receive the annual play area inspection reports
    2. To consider the report recommendations and note quotations are being sought for all recommended remedial repairs
    3. To consider delegating authority to the clerk to instruct any immediate repairs, as appropriate, within the scope of the Financial Standing orders and Play areas budget
  11. Ryedale View Play Area
    1. To consider the project to replace the play equipment at Ryedale View play area to be financed by application for grant funding
    2. To receive proposals for new play equipment at Ryedale View play area
    3. To consider carrying out a public consultation over the school summer holidays to determine support of the project and agree the format and timescales
  12. To receive the latest update on progress of the River Dove Natural Flood Management project
  13. To receive information on North Yorkshire Council's ‘Let’s Talk Rubbish’ consultation, being held between 8 July and 16 September 2024 and consider an appropriate response
  14. To receive information of attendance by the Deputy Mayor’s Office, Police and Fire services at Great Yorkshire Show to demonstrate how they are working together to keep our communities safe and feeling safe
  15. To consider updating the Kirkbymoorside Directory
  16. To receive reports from Members representing the Town Council at meetings of outside bodies and on delegated matters
  17. To receive the Town Clerk's report
  18. To receive the Town Mayor's report
