    1. To receive and approve the draft minutes of the Ordinary meeting held on 16 September 2024

  4. Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
  5. Discussions with Town and County Councillors in respect of questions already posed, and any new matters
  6. To consider financial matters
    1. To report accounts paid since the last meeting of the Council and to approve cheque payments according to the list provided
    2. To receive the Financial Summary to 30 September 2024
  7. Insurance
    1. To note the Commercial Combined Insurance Policy is due for renewal on 1 November 2024
    2. To consider the recommended renewal quote (year 2 of the 3 year agreement), from Hiscox Insurance Company Limited, of £3,950.08 (including IPT and all fees) down from £3,998.65
  8. Grants
    1. To note receipt of thanks from Kirkbymoorside Horticultural Society for supporting the Annual Show this year
    2. To consider the grant application submitted by the Kirkbymoorside bell ringing band for £895.00 to purchase and install a bell simulator
  9. To receive the Notice of Proposed Closure of All Saints Churchyard, Kirkbymoorside dated 4 October 2024
  10. Moorside Room Committee - pursuant to Minute 24065 dated 16 September 2024
    1. To consider and agree the Terms of Reference
    2. To appoint members to the Committee
    3. To agree a date of the first meeting
  11. To review the appointment of delegated representatives and consider any additional appointments as appropriate
  12. Duty to Prevent Sexual Harassment (s40A Equality Act 2010)
    1. To receive the draft policy document and consider any revisions
    2. To consider adoption of the policy and timescales for review
  13. Sports field
    1. To consider permission for Ryedale Environment Group to have a storage container at the sports field
    2. Discussions with sports club representatives on the status of projects, fundraising and management of the sports field
  14. Wildflower verges
    1. To receive information on the Kirkbymoorside wildflower verges trial, presented by Cllrs Dowie and Illingworth at the Rewilding Conference on 27th September
    2. To receive information from the North Yorks National Park on "What can Parishes do to make a difference?"
    3. To note receipt of free yellow rattle seeds from the National Park and consider application in the designated areas
    4. To consider any revisions to the grass verge cutting schedule for 2025
  15. Town Promotion
    1. To consider supporting the town's retailers and agree any appropriate action
    2. To receive information on GPC Skills business support masterclasses taking place at Kirkbymoorside Library on 19th November and consider the request to raise awareness across the local business community
  16. To note instructions from Resilience and Emergencies at North Yorkshire Council regarding access to sandbags during a flood incident
  17. To receive information on the York and North Yorkshire Police and Crime and Fire and Rescue Plans as part of the regional consultation on priorities for the next four years, closing date Monday 18 November 2024 www.YourPoliceAndFire.com
