- To consider matters arising
- Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
- Discussions with Town, District and County Councillors in respect of questions already posed, and any new matters
- To consider financial matters:
- To approve cheque payments according to the list provided
- To receive the Financial Summary to 31 January 2018
- To note that the debate event will be held at Lady Lumleys School in Pickering on Thursday 8th March 2018
- Play Areas
- To note that the post and rail element of the kissing gate at the south east entrance to Old Road play area has been removed due to damage and the Town Clerk has instructed repairs
- To note that one element of the Playdale Trim Trail at Old Road play area is damaged
- To consider and agree the cost of replacement parts, delivery and installation for the Playdale Trim Trail at a cost of £302.61 plus VAT
- Sportsfield
- To consider and agree the cost of £1500 + VAT to replace the boiler at the Cricket and Football Club House with a 24 KW Ideal Logic Combi boiler (7 year warranty)
- To note the cutting units of the gang mower have been sharpened in accordance with minute 17081 (dated 18th September 2017) wherein 'it was agreed to cover the costs of sharpening the cutting units of the gang mower every 3 years commencing winter 2017, at an estimated cost of £710.00 + VAT (additional charges incurred if it is necessary to fit additional parts or carry out further work to be charged to the pitch clubs).'
- To note the cost of the aforementioned works of £942.11 + VAT exceeds the approved expenditure of £710 + VAT
- To consider and agree to charge £232.11 to the pitch clubs, the allocation to be calculated according to the usage ratio of (cricket)17:35(football)
- To consider and agree a ceiling figure of £500 to cover the cost of tree works to Ash 504 in Manor Vale woodland, in accordance with the recommendations detailed in the tree survey report
- To receive information on progress of the installation of the bus shelter on the A170 eastbound
- To note that one of the potted silver birch trees on Piercy End requires replacement and to consider and agree to authorise the Town Clerk to make arrangements for a suitable replacement in consultation with Daisy Garden Centre, the costs associated to comply with minute 411c
- To acknowledge receipt of correspondence from In Bloom and consider and agree continued support by contributing £40 towards the cost of a flower tub
- To agree the honorarium for the winding of All Saints' Church Clock, currently £200
- To consider and agree the expense of £75 per day to purchase 50no. car parking spaces in Town Farm Car Park on 5th and 6th May 2018 at the concessionary day rate of £1.50 each to support the Tour de Yorkshire and annual Tractor Run and Kirkbymoorside 10k events
- To note receipt of correspondence from a member of the public raising concerns about the condition of the road surface on Tinley Garth and Westfields and agree an appropriate response
- To consider and agree the request by First Kirkbymoorside Scout Group to temporarily store equipment in the Town Council storage container whilst the Scout Hut is under construction
- To acknowledge receipt of the progress report of the Repair Cafe held in the Moorside Room on 20th January 2018 and note the date of the next event on 24th March 2018

- Receive reports from Members representing the Town Council at meetings of outside bodies and on delegated matters
